In the Dog Sports Sampler class, the instructor incorporates foundation skills for major dog sports – Agility, Flyball, Disc, Rally, and Nosework. Students begin by practicing body awareness and impulse control behaviors and progress to sports-specific behaviors. The goals of the class are to, sample active dog sports, and to have fun. Students will learn to develop their dog’s motivation and drive, enhancing their dog’s natural strengths of jumping, running, retrieving, and play. Students will get to sample some of the equipment and training techniques used in the various dog sports.
6 Week Class, Fee is $150
Prerequisite: Manners 2 or equivalent, non-reactive dogs, minimum age of 12 months
