Laura Arasmith Wilson is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. She joined the What a Great Dog! team in 2018. She teaches Pet Manners in both group classes and private lessons at our Frisco location. She also teaches our Enrichment Seminar: Beyond Squeaky Toys!
In 2013, Laura graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. She has since interned with the Oakland Zoo and worked as a Veterinary Technician and Kennel Assistant for several vets and shelters. She completed the Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer Foundations course and the WAGD Trainer Education Program in 2019.
Laura enjoys using positive training methods and enrichment to help build strong connections between dogs and their families. Laura and her husband, Jacob, have three wonderful dogs. Loki is a Lab mix rescued in 2015 and Baldur is a Greyhound mix rescued in 2017. Their newest addition to the family, Fenrir, is a Cardigan Welsh Corgi born in May of 2019. Fenrir is Laura’s sport prospect and has already started foundations training for Agility and Nose Work.
