This introductory class presents the basic skills needed for success in the Rally ring, including attentive heeling, pace changes, position changes, fronts and finishes, and pivot work. Using fun, positive training techniques, this class will build teamwork between handler and dog in a supportive environment.
This class gets you ready for our next level, Rally Skills, where you’ll learn the Novice level signs/exercises and will start running mini courses.
If you’re ready to get started, but you’re not finding a group Rally Foundations that fits your schedule, you may book Private Lessons with one of the Rally trainers to work through the same material.
- Successful completion of Manners 2
- If your dog is younger than 1 year, and they haven’t been in facility in 2 months or more, a new Class Readiness Evaluation is required.
- If your dog is older than 1 year, and they haven’t been in the facility in 6 months or more, a new Class Readiness Evaluation is required.
- Enrollment – six consecutive weekly 50-minute class meetings at your designated day/time.
- Make-ups for missed classes are available as private lessons for an additional fee ($70 / half hour).
- Class Fee – $228

Gabi Vannini CPDT-KA joined the WAGD staff in fall 2018. She teaches barn hunt, agility, conformation, rally and manners. She is an AKC CGC, trick, ACT test, temperament test and farm dog evaluator.
