Adrian joined WAGD in 2022 as a Pet Manners and Conformation Handling trainer. They have been involved in the world of show dogs for over 10 years, handling multiple breeds in the conformation ring. They got their first show dog, an Icelandic Sheepdog named Andi, in 2014. Adrian and Andi have some very impressive accomplishments in the breed ring. They have won multiple Owner Handled Best in Shows, multiple Group Firsts, and have been ranked #1 Owner Handled Icelandic Sheepdog, and Top 5 in the breed. Adrian has competed at the Westminster Kennel Club shows multiple times, earning multiple awards!
Adrian enjoys working with all species. They once trained a goat kid to its Trick Dog Novice title! Before moving to Texas, Adrian lived in Connecticut where they taught private lessons and group classes in Pet Manners and taught breed handling classes. Adrian currently has two dogs, Andi and Tamlin, and a snake, Jeffrey. When they are not training or competing, Adrian enjoys photography, hiking, and reading.
