If this is your first time playing agility, you are in for a treat! People AND dogs love learning this sport. It’s a fun and healthy activity for both you and your dog. WAGD offers agility classes at levels from beginner to highly competitive.

Our agility program is a busy one! If you don’t see a class that works for you, please contact us to be placed on the Interest List. As ring space becomes available to start new beginner groups, or fill-in existing groups, we will contact people on the interest list first. Agility private lessons are also available.

For those with competitive agility experience, we have world team level instruction to take your competitive game to the next level. Contact our Head Agility Trainer, Rachel Downs (rachel@whatagreatdog.com),  for information on joining an ongoing class.

Agility Beginners' Program

This series of foundational classes will give you and your dog a great start in the sport of dog agility. With an emphasis on nailing down the ground work first, then carefully layering on the obstacle and handing skills, you’ll be positioned to succeed in this popular dog sport

Agility Ongoing Classes

Ongoing classes are for teams who are proficient on all the obstacles and have mastered fundamental handling. We have weekly ongoing classes for both beginner teams and serious competitors.

Agility Events & Special Classes
