Jean is a Senior Trainer who joined What a Great Dog! in April of 2017. She is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) who teaches Pet Manners classes and privates lessons at both locations. Jean has always had a passion for dogs and the desire to work with them. She has a degree in Emergency Management and retired from the emergency responder world after 20 years. She joined the staff of WAGD to fulfill her dream of working with canines. She had been a long-time WAGD client and completed the WAGD Trainer Education Program in 2017. She continues her education through seminars and working with mentors.
Jean believes good training starts with building a bond with your dog, positive training, and equivalent trust. She has a Belgian Malinois, Stevie, and three German Shepherds, Casanova and Zeus. She also has three horses that occupy her time away from work.
